Tubular Levers

Tubular Levers are different from cylindrical only because of the way you lock your door. While one pushed the button to lock the door for Cylindrical Levers, the Tubular require you to purposefully turn the little dial to lock and unlock.

This lock in not recommended for those having arthritis or having "full" fingers. You will find it cumbersome. But for security wise...it has an anvantage over the Cylindrical Lever.

Cylindrical Levers

Cylindrical Levers are like the usal knobs that you find in our regular home...only difference is that it has a lever instead of a knob. It operates the same way as a knob would. Key to open on the outside and a push button on the inside.

Caution in using the Cylindrical Levers. You would need to advise your contractor to be very precise in setting the backset (ie the distance from the edge of door to the centre of the hole where the lock is supposed to be). Any mistake would cause the lever to droop or lower the life stan of the lock because of the tension caused.
